Melony Gibson

Melony Gibson is a training and leadership development professional who has been committed to the field of education and performance improvement for over 30 years.

Melony began her journey in early childhood development with a focus on family studies. She served the early education field as a program coordinator, program director, and regional manager for public and private organizations focused on high quality education programs for young children. The roles in early education also focused on providing parent education, staff training and development, and client partnerships.

Melony expanded her experience and area of study to the field of education to support and impact the practices and procedures for all learners. She worked as an adjunct professor at several colleges in Los Angeles, California, and Atlanta, Georgia. She taught coursework on administration, curriculum, and family and community studies.

Melony earned her doctorate degree in Education with a focus on Performance Improvement Leadership and has worked as a professional developer of talent for leaders, a diversity, equity, and inclusion specialist, and a retention and engagement manager. Melony’s education and experience led her to pursue her passion of growing leaders and helping to develop organizational sustainability.

The proud mother of four adult children, one grandchild, and a wonderful husband, Melony is fortunate to have a village of support as she pursues her professional dreams. Melony is the lead consultant and owner of Engage and Lead, a leadership development and training consulting company.
